To best serve our customers we need the best team. We provide a variety of property maintenance services, ranging from low skill to high skill tasks. We need team members that can learn quickly and that will embrace our company values of being helpful, dependable and honest. Check out our job posting
In 2022 we will be posting our new, innovated team roles to deliver the job features our workers have requested, namely flexible schedules and resume development support.
Flexible Schedule
To allow our team to have greater control over their work schedule we have launched a new HRM system. Within the HRM online platform, team members can indicate, on their own employee profile, when they are available or un-available to be assigned shifts. It will also make it easier to swap shifts with co-workers as needed. This means you can choose to work part time or full time (season dependent).
Resume Development
The jobs we offer our team are usually entry level and often help form the foundation of a career in many industries. We hope to help our employees up in the world and prepare them for future careers. To help in this goal we will be experimenting with an innovative duel-role employment arrangement. All our team members will be assigned a primary job role. Those that are interested may also apply for a secondary job role (hence the term 'duel-role').
The primary job roles are associated with the core services of the company, the things that make a direct difference for our customers and make our employment possible. Primary roles cover services such as lawn care, shrub care, etc.
Secondary roles are associated with the back-end type of activities that support our main operations. A secondary role could be a position in a department such as marketing, HR, accounting, or content creation.
All team members will work most of the time in their primary role, those with secondary roles will work part of the time in their secondary role.
Example: Katara has applied to join our team as an irrigation specialist. She is currently a student at a local university where she is trying to earn a degree in Marketing. After being hired, she now spends many hours at school but works part time too. Using our HRM system she indicated that she is available to work any time after 1pm on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays. Now she works Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1pm to 5pm on a gardening crew helping to complete the gardening route and solve issues with the watering systems. She also clocks, from the comfort of her own home, a couple hours per week in the evening while she works on an occasional marketing campaign that she had approved by and is coordinating with her supervisor. The marketing projects she works on will help strengthen her resume for after graduation.

Early in your employment, you will work closely with the owner to receive on the job training. As a team member you will be provided access to our online resources to support your learning for your role(s). The company will host formal and informal training events for new and seasoned team members.
Occasionally, some team members may be provided the opportunity to attend training and professional development events hosted by third parties.

Leadership goal: Be consistent in our efforts to improve the systems and quality of our workplace and operations.
3. Be Honest
For the success of our team we must be able to trust each other and be dedicated to fostering trust among our clients. Leadership goal: To be transparent about leadership goals and objectives.
We acknowledge that for many of our employees the job we offer is simply meant to help them get through school or earn extra money on the side of some other priority. Our goal is to provide you with a good job for at least 1-4 years and help you move upward in your career goals.
We are leveraging modern technology to improve the job quality for the whole company. We have aggregated training material online that the team can access anytime. Our CRM and HRM platforms are online making it easy to see and manage our schedules and assignments. We recently launched a new HRM platform that will allow our employees to post their customized availability/unavailability so we know when they can be booked for shifts. The new HRM system will also help employees find co-workers to cover them when as needed.
No. All applicants will apply to a primary job role. Those that are interested, are welcome to also apply to a secondary role and hold a duel role position. We hope that the duel role positions will assist our workers in developing their resume toward their career goals.
